Colorado Women! Does the Community Know Your Name?

Have you thought about how you can iimprove your profile and increase your visibility in 2022?  Two reasons you may want to do this:

A.) You are considering a run for office someday and need to know what it will take.

B.) You want to increase and improve your "brand" and connections in the community for business purposes.

If either of these reasons appeal to you, you need to attend the Colorado Women's Day conference event in conjunction with the Colorado Women's Alliance Foundation “Colorado Women – Does Your Community Know Your Name?” on Thursday morning, March 10 from 9 am to Noon.

This workshop led by political and business experts Joni Inman and Sheryl Fernandez will contain three sections:

Part I – Community engagement.  How to get involved in public policy, whether or not you want to run for office.  A “How to” on effectively influencing elected officials, getting appointed to boards and commissions, using the media and social media to voice your opinion, without antagonizing your audience.

Part 2 – Considering a run for public office.  How to take the first steps in deciding whether or not to run for public office. Is the seat winnable?  What you need to know.

Part 3 – “A Woman’s Life in Public Office” panel.  This panel of former and current female elected officials will share their experience in running for, and serving in public office, while raising families, running businesses or working  regular jobs simultaneously.  How they manage it all and how you can too.

This half day is sponsored by the Colorado Women’s Alliance and the Colorado Women’s Alliance Foundation.

Space is limited! ($35/per person)
