The NREL Foundation Outstanding Woman in STEM award will be presented to a Colorado woman for her achievements in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field, either as an inventor, businesswoman, advocate for STEM, or educator.

The nominee does NOT need to be an employee of NREL.

Nominations for the award will be reviewed by a team comprised of NREL Foundation associates and qualified individuals from the community at large.

By applying, the nominee and nominator give the NREL Foundation, Colorado Women’s Day, and the IX Power Foundation permission to publish and distribute the nominee’s photo and nomination information.

Quality headshots in jpeg format of all finalists will be required by Jan. 31, 2023.

Because the luncheon is a charity fundraiser, all finalists must purchase an event ticket unless other arrangements are made well in advance.
