Women's Health is a frequent topic on the nightly news and in celebrity gossip. From breast cancer to HPV to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, this information can often be overwhelming and sometimes scary. Dr. Amber Fontenot-Ferris, an OB/GYN with Westside Women's Care, will discuss topics often heard in the news such as Breast screenings and guidelines, HPV, Cervical Cancer and screenings, and more with this informative breakout. Dr. Amber Fontenot Ferriss is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana. She completed her Medical Degree at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she helped to establish a satellite medical school campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2016, she graduated from the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. As a chief resident, she was selected for recognition from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists for "Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology." As a gynecologist, Dr. Fontenot's career passions include minimally invasive surgery (vaginal, hysteroscopic, and laparoscopic procedures), contraception, as well as in-office procedures. She fosters an open environment for women to feel comfortable discussing challenging topics such as heavy menstrual bleeding, painful intercourse, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain.

Ms. Calandra is the Director of the Employment Division at Ramos Law. She will outline the best steps to take when you, or someone you care about is sexually harassed, assaulted, and prevented from doing the job or from being promoted. She will also address when it's time to hire an attorney, and what you can expect when filing a lawsuit. Questions will be taken! Colleen T. Calandra specializes in wage and hour and employment law. Ms. Calandra’s practice involves all aspects of wage and hour law with an emphasis on collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Ms. Calandra earned a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in 1997 and received her J.D. cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2001. After practicing law for five years, Ms. Calandra returned to law school and earned a LL.M. in Labor and Employment law from Wayne state University Law School.
