2024 Unsung Heroine Award

Deadline to Nominate:  January 31, 2024

The "Unsung Heroine Award" is specifically for women who have worked hard on behalf of the community, either in a paid job or unpaid capacity, and for those who have shown courage through difficult situations.  Our purpose with this award is to recognize and thank those who have made quiet, previously unrecognized, but impactful contributions to their community and/or family.

By applying, the nominee and nominator give Colorado Women's Day and the IX Power Foundation permission to publish and distribute the nominees photo and nomination information.

A quality headshot in jpeg format should be uploaded at the time the nomination form is being completed.  If this is not possible, please get it turned in by January 31, 2024.  If you need assistance, please call 303-277-9520, ext. 310.

Because the Colorado Women's Day event is a fundraiser, all finalists and their guests must purchase an event ticket for the day which begins at 9 am, then goes to lunch and ends at approximately 1:30 pm.

If the winner in this category cannot attend the event, her award will be presented to the judges' second choice.

The Unsung Heroine Award is one of the two original awards presented at Colorado Women's Day years ago.
